Albi Darned

Albi Darned is my best kitty friend..... maybe because we have so much in common.... being the same color and all. He would like to be an only kitty if he could, but still he is nice to the other cats. He just likes to go places where no one else can to be alone..... these places include way up high, farther than anyone can jump.

Most people ask how Albi got his name. It really is quite the funny story so I will tell you it. When Albi was a kitten, someone left him in a box in the middle of the street. The lady that cleaned our house at the time saw him and knew that Mom could help find a home for him. She brought him to our house when she came.

Mom fell in love at first sight. She knew they had a soul connection and were meant to be together. So Albi got to stay. But at that time, Mom thought he was a girl and named him Abby. As time passed, it became evident that Abby was in fact NOT a girl. Mom didn't want to confuse him too much by completely chaging the sound of his name so she called him Albi for short.... the long version arriving from "Albi Darned, You're a Boy!"

(he has since outgrown the complex he had from being named a girl and all- Thank Gosh!)
